The consequences of changing marriage.

A look at the 'arguments' against equality.

In this series we are going to have a look at The Australian Christian Lobby (ACL), a political anti-gay group, as with a vote on equality looming, they are exploding with nonsensical vitriol and hate speech.

ACL- Tuesday, 26 May 2015
"legislating a family structure which requires a child to miss out on their mum or dad."

No idea what this is about, changing the legislation back to pre-2004 terminology does not affect children. The legislation is about marriage between consenting adults of legal age.

"florists, photographers and cake makers in other countries are being legally punished simply because they prefer not to participate in a same-sex wedding."
Simply send a reply declining the invitation to a wedding if you don't want to go, that's the polite thing to do.

They seem to be arguing for the right to discriminate against homosexual couples, that's not ‘loving thy neighbour’. Bigotry should be punished, if you can’t treat people equally in your business perhaps you should employ someone who can, or get out of a business where you have to deal with the public in a polite manner..

So the first post they have on their website is rater nonsense, something irrelevant about children missing out on parents, and advocacy for bigots rights and enabling discrimination.
I was hoping to actually find an argument, an actual point that might be relevant, oh well there is a few more to go yet.

The consequences of changing marriage?

That is an easy one, equal rights for all Australians in Marriage law.

The ACL hate group should not be confused with the Australian Cat Ladies.
