Satanists curse Trump!

 Is a headline you may have seen recently. I implore you to remember where you saw headlines like this because they are fake news. i should point out that i am using the term fake news correctly here, that is to say that the news story is demonstrably incorrect and misleading. I am not using the trumpian definition of fake news which seems to be anything that is not pro-trump propaganda.

 I am referring to the spiritual of the world who are working good magic against the evil of the Trump administration. So what makes these news story's fake exactly? Firstly the claim that the movement aims to in any way curse Trump is simply untrue. The ritual was a binding ritual, which specifically designed to merely prevent Trump from doing harm. 
 I will point out here that anyone trying to counter this ritual is admitting that they want Trump to do harm, and are actively trying to aid Trump in causing harm. 

 A lot of the news story's refer to satanists and Satan worshipers participating in these rituals. Now while Satan worshipers are certainly not disallowed from participating, i find it difficult to imagine that these Satanist Christians would want to. Surely Satanists would be supporting the evils of the Trump administration not opposing them? And if Satanists are trying to prevent harm and other Christian sects are trying to stop the Satanists from preventing harm....then i think those other Christians need to have a good hard look at their own moral code.

 The ritual is to be performed on every every waning crescent moon which is not technically monthly. The spell will continue to be performed until he is removed from office which doesn't necessarily demand impeachment.
 Lets get it straight the ritual is not a curse, it is not evil! How could preventing someone from doing harm be an evil act? Its not even dangerous, if your really concerned about your spiritual safety or any "karmic" repercussions, you could add something like "harming none, and for the greater good of all" just before you say "so mote it be".  
 You could also just remove the lines "Heavenly hosts. Demons of the infernal realms" if those lines concern you. 
 Also if you follow any gods you would definitely add "In the name and by the power of (your deity's names)", after you list the elemental spirits. 
 In this way the divine will add their own power to your ritual and they will also filter your intent through their moral code. That seems to be the whole idea of this ritual its amorphous enough to be altered without losing intent. I do understand that this may be foreign for a lot of people who are not proficient in spiritual matters, but performing this ritual might enlighten many to the fact that there are other paths.

Remember too that any spiritual advisers who are feeding you a fake narrative about this movement should be of concern, they may actually have little knowledge and couldn't be bothered to educate themselves or are possibly being actively deceitful.

 As an aside i had a lot of trouble just getting the headlines for this post. A lot of Christian websites never stop loading, they play advertisements constantly and they slowed my Internet to a halt if i opened more then one at a time. Some of them even played music?!?
 Don't forget to act in the mundane world to help those being oppressed by Trump and his supporters.
 I would also encourage any "sceptics" to actually study the science before making any uneducated or false claims.

 I implore those with magical knowledge who feel they have legitimate concerns or criticisms to produce their own version of this ritual. Below you can see the ritual modified in a way that should alleviate those concerned with accidentally doing any harm. I also tried to "tidy" the wording up a little and added specific references to divinity. Changes should be in bold. I provide this just as an example of such alterations and encourage you to check out the full ritual,. In fact only the spoken part of the ritual is shown below so you will need to reference the original.

ACL Leader equates equal rights movement with rise of Nazis.

 Hate Group Leader equates equal rights movement with rise of Nazis.

Lyle Shelton of the ACL hate group has linked the fight for gay rights to the rise of Nazis in Germany.

 The ACL (Australian "christian" lobby) is a hate group that is for bullying children and against LGBT rights. They are a group of lying, bigoted, hypocritical, anti- constitutional, homophobes.

 Those following the news may remember that these idiotic and insulting thoughts are not even his own, for when the ACL held there annual hate rally scorn was directed at the ACL for having a speaker that held those views. I did a post on it myself about my disgust that Scott Morrison our treasurer was attending the hate rally.

 So Lyle Sheldton has seen how offensive and inappropriate it is to liken gays to Nazis, he has seen the harm this caused and months later still decides that it is an appropriate thing to say.

 The fact that he had more than enough time to research the facts and still decided to mislead and vilify is disgusting. He has a responsibility to know better, and to do better.

 For the record, the Nazis were homophobic like the ACL, the Nazis persecuted an estimated 100,000 men during the Holocaust. The Nazis shut down gay groups, and destroyed literature on sexuality, not the gay men.It is the ACL and other bigots that want to shut down Safe Schools anti-bulling campaigns, not the gays. 
So bigots should really check themselves before comparing others (like  a group who were the victims of the holocaust) to the Nazis.

 Lyle Sheldton went on to repeat some inflammatory nonsense about children being taken form a mother and father, and i just recently did a Bigot Point article debunking just such a claim. 

 Will Scott Morrison now denounce this hate group? Will the authorities finally declare this hate group a terrorist organization and shut them down? Will the ABC apologize for allowing him on the air like they have done with another radical extremist who was only in the audience and not an invited panelist?

 We all need to stand strong against these bigoted hate mongers. We need to be the guardians of what is good and right. We who choose to educate ourselves, so we don't say the opposite of what is truth, we need to oppose the spread of the kind of prejudice that the ACL encourage.
 Also if your Christian, these bigots are giving your religion and your god a very bad name, let your church know you support equality as well as your government.
 Contact Scott Morrison demand he denounce the ACL.
 Contact the ABC and demand they apologize for airing this radical extremists hate speech.

 Luckily we have a means to do so in the upcoming election. Contact your local candidates find out if they are homophobic and if they are tell them they do not have your vote.

 Again i wonder why these people don't overcome there harmful prejudices and try to do some good. Perhaps the ACL should appoint a leader that at least will follow the 10 commandments, i am especially thinking of the one about not bearing false witness.   
 But a leader with even passing knowledge of the bible might help the organization avoid such humiliation in the future.

 This is an interesting one and i have heard it by some otherwise rational people. While on the surface such a statement might seam almost reasonable, personally this argument makes me sick, and it gives me great pleasure to debunk it. 
First lets look at what this argument is actually arguing against.

Those bigots using this argument are against:

* Same sex couples who are already raising children.

* Those who are caring enough to adopt a child.

* Those who choose to look after foster care children.

* Those who raise children from their partners former relationship,whether the need arises through separation, death or unfitness of the biological parent.

* Relatives who raise children because the parents are unable to do so for whatever reason.

* Single parents.

 As you can see when you actually examine their argument, its rather shocking. These people think children are better off on the street then in caring homes. I hope they never gain the power to remove these children from their homes.

 Then we have to consider that some biological parents are not fit to raise children. biological parents can unfortunately mutilate, neglect, indoctrinate, molest and abuse their own children. 

 Do these bigots really think that children are better off in that kind of environment then if they were adopted by a couple who really wants to care for the child or raised  by a single parent?

 I would hope not, but that is their argument. I would also hope they would put aside their prejudices if they were in a position to choose what environment a child was raised in.

 Their argument also neglects the fact that single people and gay couples often have extended family's of both sexes. Thankfully not all family's would turn their back on a single parent or same sex couple who are raising a child. Meaning the child will have both male and female influences.

 In the case of surrogacy, the birth mother, or sperm donor (are their better words for these amazing people?) who help a same-sex couple (or even a straight couple) often have an important place within this extended family.

 Further independent studies have repeatedly shown that same-sex couples are equal to or in some cases even better parents than their straight counterparts. I think this is probably because for same sex couples having a child is almost always a choice, and often a difficult path. So the decision is not made lightly.

 Some bigots will argue that the child of a same-sex couple will be bullied. The irony of this is mind blowing as it is people like those who make this argument raising bigoted children that do this kind of bullying. Surely the answer is to educate children and stop the bullying, to protect the children from bullying.

 There is also the fact that not all same-sex couples ever want to have children. The desire to have children is not and never has been a prerequisite to marriage eligibility in Australia (I am aware that some bigots argue it is, but ill go into that nonsense in another post).

 How could i forget the ridiculous spin off argument that same-sex parents would create gay children. This is so stupid its difficult to address, ill just say that most LGBT people are born from and raised by straight people.

  I would argue that instead of children needing both a biological mother and father, that children are better off with one or more adults who care about them. No one is depriving these children of anything, they are being gifted with a home that truly cares for them.

The book is about 21cm square, there is a title page with a to and from box, just in case you want to give the book as a gift. There ia a forward written by David G McAfee, most of the pages are two page painting style illustration with a biblical verse, the art work is good and does bring to mind children's bible illustrations. The book ends with information about every illustration complete with QR code, a crossword and a fill in the blanks story.

The book is clearly not a children's bible, it is however in that style. The book is a satirical look at actual things from the bible that most people do not think about or are not even aware of. As well as parts that have been removed, heavily edited, added later or are just plain silly.

 My xx's mother happened to notice this book on the coffee table, she asked to look through it and i agreed. I had always thought that she was well versed in her religion, however she was adamant that even some of the well known verses shown were not in any bible.

  It is always amazing to me when i realise i know more about a persons religion then they do. 

One amusing issue that she was adamant about was that she claimed that Transubstantiation was only symbolic to Catholics and not literal. As much as i tried to explain, and even showed her on catholic websites that she was incorrect and that the wine was literally supposed to be blood, and the bread flesh. She still refused to believe. 

She eventually had her "zinger" saying that she had actually had the communion and that it was only wine and bread she ate. I explained that that fact doesn't change that the Catholics believe it to be a literal transformation, and that i wasn't arguing that i agreed with them, just stating what they believed. I even suggested that maybe the priest was having an off day and the ritual failed that day. But she couldn't wrap her head around it sadly, just saying "it wasn't flesh though!".

While i didn't "fact check" all of the books entries, the ones i wasn't sure about did check out. I think it would undermine what the author is trying to do for them to include falsehoods, i cant see them doing it.

I can highly recommend this book for anyone who has been effected by the christian bible (that's everyone). It is a great gift for anyone who draws from the bible in their religious beliefs. It is also an enjoyable read for those who have reformed their beliefs or escaped the church.

Homophobic first person shooter taken down

 

WARNING CONTAINS OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE

This person is seriously sick and deluded. Some homophobic bigot (at Skaldic Games) has created a "game", called "Kill the Faggots".
The “game” was created as part of the Steam Greenlight program, the "game" has since been taken down from Steam. In this poorly realised abomination the aim is to shoot homosexuals and transgender people, you lose points if you accidentally shoot a straight person.  Meanwhile offensive hate speech and anti-gay slurs are heard and appear on the screen. It is clearly designed to incite hatred and promote violence against the LGBTI community.
According to  Randall Herman (the bigot who created this) his reason for creating this "game" was;

"These people that think if you are even remotely homophobic, you are 'hateful' and a 'bigot,' and do everything they can to destroy you in every vicious way possible,"

Wait let’s stop there for a second; We urgently need a few definitions;

Definition of HOMOPHOBIA:

 Irrational fear of, aversion to, hatred towards or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals

Definition of BIGOTRY:

Intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one's own.

Definition HATRED:

The feeling of one who hates; intense dislike or extreme aversion or hostility towards someone or something.

Let me make this point, let me be absolutely clear, every act of homophobia, however small, is an act of hatred and it is an act of bigotry towards homosexuals, that’s what makes it homophobic!

It seems like this Randall Herman, the “game” creator also has some kind of obsession with shoes and had a failed Kickstarter for “Christian shoes”? Don't ask me i don't know what christian shoes are...
I expect that he wont get any job as quality assurance (or otherwise), in the gaming industry anytime soon. We should also hope he gets the psychiatric help he so obviously needs.
